The Miracle-Ear office in Marietta, Georgia reached out to our local Representative Solomon Adesanya and invited him to come and tour our facility and build a relationship. Representative Adesanya stopped by the office today, and we spoke with him about how our office cares for our patients and their hearing health. While he was here, we showed him a video of what it sounds like to have hearing loss, performed a video otoscopy on him so he could see how we check for wax in a patient's ear, and we did a demonstration of hearing aids and how they work with a TV Streamer since an induction loop will be installed at the Capital soon.
Representative Adesanya was impressed by the amount of work we do for the hearing impaired community and offered his support if any legislation is brought up in Georgia that is similar to HR 579. He is going to help us get in touch with other representatives in Georgia to nurture a relationship between our industry and the policymakers under the dome.
